Job title: Team Leader – PM Shift
Reports to: DC Manager
Responsible for: Managing PM shift to achieve all KPI’s and deadlines, fostering a positive
work environment, ensuring productivity and achieving collective success.

Role Purpose:
As a Team Leader, your role involves guiding, supervising, and motivating a team of
employees to achieve efficient and cost-effective Distribution Centre processes, staying
within agreed KPIs and deadlines. You will be the responsible person on site for the PM
shift, ensuring site is locked down and alarmed at the end of the day.
Key responsibilities:
Setting workloads: you’ll allocate tasks and set workloads for team members based on the needs of the operation.
Training and development: ensure staff members receive proper training and development.
Goal alignment: ensure employees work towards company objectives.
Communication: communicate goals, deadlines, and recent developments to the team.
Performance assessment & management: assess team performance and provide constructive feedback. Manage any individuals underperforming in their role.#
Operational support: contribute to the daily operation of the organisation.
Ensuring the site is locked down and alarmed when leaving site at the end of shift.
Customer service: handle customer inquiries and interactions via the Customer Happiness team.

Key Skills & Experience:
Proven experience of leading a large, multi-skilled team in a Distribution Centre environment.
Proven experience of improving productivity within a team
Effective communication - clear communication and active listening skills.
Ability to think strategically and lead a team.
Organisational awareness - understand and follow company goals and policies.
Problem solving - address challenges and find solutions.
Adaptability – flexibility to handle changing situations.
