Junior Merchandiser
We have an amazing opportunity for a Junior Merchandiser to join the Lucy & Yak Product Team!
As a Junior Merchandiser you will ensure the right products are available in the right places, in the right quantities, at the right time. You'll work closely with the Buying team to plan stock levels, manage orders and optimise sales both in-store and online.
Supporting the Senior Merchandiser you'll be looking after intake and focusing on sales performance across our online channel and stores.
What you'll be doing...
- Working closely with Buying and Design to develop product ranges that align with brand vision, target markets, and sales objectives.
- Reviewing historical and current sales data to forecast future stock needs.
- Supporting the Senior Merchandiser with creating initial range plans
- Supporting in WSSI management, reviewing consistently in line with trade performance.
- Proactively managing stock levels, allocate and replenish stock to stores and e-comm.
- Coordinating product transfers, stock locations and handle adjustments.
- Creating and maintaining the store stock strategy
- Analysing and monitoring best and worst sellers and making informed recommendations and actions on a weekly basis.
- Contributing to Visual Merchandising strategies to maximise sales.
- Preparing Trade reports driving out clear weekly trade actions.
- Developing strong working relationships across the wider business including digital, external suppliers and stores.

- Working closely with Buying on the critical path process ensuring stock arrives on time and in full.
- Managing any price changes
- Meeting with supplier partners to ensure deliveries are on time
- Negotiating change of delivery of bulk goods, where applicable
What you need...
- Proven experience working within a Merchandising team, in a similar fast-growing business.
- Experience in store Merchandising.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Comfortable in presenting and communicating to senior management.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills.
- Strong cross-functional experience and ability to work collaboratively.
- Uses initiative to solve problems.

- Salary £32 -£36k per annum, based on experience
- Based in our Brighton Office
- Permanent role
- 30 hours/4 day per week with full time salary
